The wind is howling outside and I'm sitting in my bedroom attempting to be productive. I have emails I need to write, taxes I need to file, a website I need to launch, and an overall life that's in need of sorting. But, like a lot of people, I've had a hard time focusing lately and we know the reasons why. The high winds and cool air are only adding to the feelings of dread and fear.
However, I know that tomorrow I will wake up, go and vote with my daughter, and then come home to wait. I'll fill my day with work and activities, but I'll also try to take a lot of deep breaths. I'm going to look around and enjoy the environment around me. I'll walk my dogs, cook a few meals for myself and daughter. And, I will remain hopeful that good will finally prevail.
